Senior Site Health and Safety Manager
Responsibilities:
- Lead and implement safety programs on heavy construction projects.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations.
- Conduct safety inspections and audits.
- Investigate accidents and near-miss incidents.
- Develop and deliver safety training programs.
- Collaborate with project teams to promote a safe work environment.
- Manage safety documentation and reporting.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or Construction Management. and 7 years construction safety, general industry safety, or construction management or;
- Associate Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or Construction Management. and 9 years construction safety, general industry safety, or construction management or;
- High School Diploma/GED and 11 years construction safety, general industry safety, or construction management.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations.
- Proven experience in construction safety.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license.
Required Certifications and Experience:
- OSHA: Deep understanding of OSHA Construction and General Industry standards.
- Industry Standards: Proficiency in ANSI, NIOSH, CoE EM 385-1, and NEC standards.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Pay Rate:
Up to $40/hr
